Shockwave therapy can be an alternative to acupuncture for patients that are sensitive to pain. Used across private hospitals, elite athletics and now clinics like ours!

Treatment is usually quick, not painful and usually requires between 4-8 sessions per area, delivered on a weekly basis, sometimes more if your injuries are extensive.  A series of non-surgical impulses of energy are delivered, that target your injury and encourage regeneration. On the first visit; the consultant Osteopath, Mr Shikotra, will take a full history, examination, and if suitable, will often begin treatment immediately. If treatment is not suitable, then advice and onward referrals will be made.
